Submitting text and images that meet SEEK Commercial specifications helps us to respond promptly to your request to build or display promotional advertising on our site.
Banner advertising
Banners are animated advertising units displayed at the top of the page, or to the right of the page.
Leaderboard banners
Also known as 'standard' banners. Most commonly appearing across the top of the page.
Size: 728w x 90h pixels
Formats accepted: Animated GIF, JPEG, Flash, HTML
Maximum file size: 24kb Flash/HTML, 20kb GIF/JPEG
Skyscraper banners
An elongated advertising feature most commonly appearing adjacent to search results.
Size: 160w x 600h pixels
Formats accepted: Animated GIF, JPEG, Flash, HTML
Maximum file size: 24kb Flash/HTML, 20kb GIF/JPEG
SEEK Commercial homepage tile
This is a tile that appears on the SEEK Commercial homepage, an excellent opportunity in a high exposure area.
Size: 234w x 60h pixels
Formats accepted: GIF or JPEG, no animation.
Maximum file size: 3K
Featured advertiser tile
These tiles provide premium positioning and exposure on the SEEK Commercial homepage. These tiles are limited to only 6 spots.
Size: 105w x 50h pixels
Formats accepted: GIF or JPEG, no animation.
Maximum file size: 3K
Text requirements: Up to 45 characters for title and short description/location of the business, including spacing and punctuation.
Biz Mail advertising
A text-only promotion that appears in the regular SEEK Commercial Biz Mail.
Text requirements: Under 200 characters (this includes spaces and punctuation) and the full http:// click through URL.)
What do I need to provide?
Banner artwork can be provided directly by your organisation or we can help you create one or more effective banners and tiles. These can link through to:
A summary of your current business listings on SEEK Commercial;
Your Franchisor or Broker Profile on SEEK Commercial; or
A direct link to your company's website.
Banner ad requirements -
If you are supplying the banner yourself you will need to provide a static or animated banner that conforms to the above specifications.
If SEEK Commercial is building the banner for you, send through any images you would like included in the design in GIF or JPG format, accompanied by detailed notes relating to your preference for layout and content.
A click through URL must be provided; this is the web page that users will arrive at when they click on your banner.
The dates over which you would like your banner to be promoted on site.
If you have purchased targeted banners, please specify any industry sectors you would particularly like to target.

Homepage tile and Featured Advertiser requirements -
If you are creating the tile you will need to provide a static image that conforms to the above specifications.
; If SEEK Commercial is building the tile for you, you will need to send through the image in GIF or JPG format. Given the size constraints of this tile size, we strongly recommend using a logo image or equivalent.

Please ensure you do not use:
Carriage returns and formatting such as colours, bolding and underlining.
Words that may trigger spam detection filters and prevent the Job Mail e-mails from being delivered. Avoid phrases such as 'work from home', 'financial freedom $$$' and 'the sky is the limit'.
An easy way to ensure that you do not exceed the 200 character limit is to create your text-only promotion in MS Word and use the ‘Character Count’ feature.
SEEK Commercial Advertisement Policy
All advertisements will be reviewed by SEEK Commercial and are subject to approval by SEEK Commercial before placement on the site. Advertisements cannot mislead the user. For example the banner must not appear similar to a Windows error message or browser window. Advertisements must not use transparent backgrounds.
SEEK Commercial reserves the right to remove any advertisement that is deemed annoying and/or harmful to our users at any time. No strobing effects or audio are allowed within banners.
